This downloadable PDF includes the pattern and full photographic instructions for sewing your own half scale female mannequin head and arms. They are designed to work with the medium half scale female mannequin pattern, but will still work with others (the head fit’s onto a 7” neck).

The arm pattern includes the options to make it with or without a hand, and either just stuffed or with a wire skeleton so it may be bent at the elbow to multiple positions. They are removable, and simply pin onto the mannequin body when required.

Mannequin Measurements:

Arm Length 11¾” (29.5cm), Upper Arm 6” (15.5cm), Wrist 3½” (9cm), Around Head 11½” (29cm)

Full Size Equivalent:

Arm Length 23½” (59cm), Upper Arm 12” (30.5cm), Wrist 7” (18cm), Around Head 23” (59cm)

Please note these will vary slightly depending on the type of fabric used and how densely it is stuffed.

Arm Fabric Requirements:

• Fabric - 50cmm x 50cm

• Approx. 2mm thick Cardboard – Small Piece

• Wadding/Poly-Fil/fabric scraps – Approx. 10g per arm

• Wire (optional) – 60cm x about 1.5mm per arm

• Wooden pencil or similar (optional)

Head Fabric Requirements:

• Fabric – 40cm x 35cm

• Wadding/Poly-Fil/fabric scraps – Approx. 40g

• Cotton Tape or Ribbon – 20cm

• Optional: Very small piece of Approx. 2mm thick Cardboard

This pattern can be printed on both A4 and Letter size paper.
